When the KRAKEN brand was conceived, `the idea was to make ‘monstrous cigars’, and thats how these cigars are, They’re huge! So there was no other choice but to make a strong branding that represented this monstruosity.

Inspired by Alfred Tennyson’s poem and other folkloric songs and stories from northern Atlantic sailors, I designed this logo with an illustrative style and a simplistic approach despite its apparent detail.

All the branding represents strength and monstruosity. Playing with a modern ‘serif’ font and a bunch of tentacles that want to grab it all.
